The WDIO-Bamyan Office recently held a coordination meeting with the Director of the Provincial Education Department (PED) of Bamyan Province to address and resolve an issue raised by the Provincial Department of Economy (PDoE). The matter pertained to a letter issued by the PDoE to the PED, alleging that WDIO had not submitted the necessary documentation for its education projects.
During the meeting, Mr. Jalal Kakar, the Provincial Manager of WDIO-Bamyan, provided a detailed overview of the ongoing activities under WDIO’s education projects. He also addressed the concerns outlined in the PDoE’s letter. Mr. Kakar clarified that WDIO had already submitted all required documents for the five projects implemented in Bamyan province to the PDoE. He further explained that the only pending document was the project proposal, which is subject to the donor’s transitional planning and approval process and will be submitted as soon as it becomes available. To reassure the PED Director, Mr. Kakar emphasized WDIO’s commitment to resolving any issues that could impede the progress of the education projects. He expressed WDIO’s dedication to maintaining transparency and ensuring the smooth implementation of all activities. The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to strengthen collaboration between WDIO and the PED.
